Maleic Anhydride Grafted Polypropylene

Maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP-g- MAH)  Lushan series is evaluated as compatibilizer/coupling agent which is used to fill or reinforce polypropylene. As the coupling agent, PP-g- MAH can significantly improve the filled or enhanced PP's mechanical properties and heat resistance. At the same time, the introduction of polypropylene molecular chain polar groups could significantly improve PP’s shading ability.
Maleic Anhydride Grafted Polypropylene Usage
1,     As compatibilizer/coupling agent for polypropylene filled with glass fiber or mineral: maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene has a high polarity. As long as adding a small amount (4%), it can significantly improve interface bonding strength between PP and the glass fiber, talc, mica and other inorganic fillers. Modified polypropylene's tensile strength, bending strength and impact strength have been improved significantly.
2,      As compatibilizer/coupling agent for PA / PP, PA / PE alloy: to improve the processing of nylon, impact resistance, lower water absorption and products dimensional stability.
3,    Improve coating and painting/ shading properties for polypropylene.
